Hot take: Powerpoint is good enough!
I always wonder if there is actually a need for a tool that is somehow "better than" Powerpoint or Google Slides. Imho no.
Sure, Powerpoint is overloaded with features, some of which are hidden out of plain sight and require a 3 year bachelors degree to actually start using them, but...
New competitors in the space often seem to disrupt established workflows for their users. Why? Because many of the features people have come to expect over the years simply do not exist in new tools.
So is it possible at all to unify a very fragmented user base under a new tool, assuming you can never offer the same breadth of features out of the gate?
